Encounters with the natural world

Monday, 3 April 2017 - 8:00pm - Friday, 7 April 2017 - 12:00pm

Give yourself time to notice the beauty and wonder all around you. Connect in a deeper way and gain new insights. There is something that speaks of deeper things in creation and beauty…

There will be gentle walking and exploration in different parts of the Lakes (via a minibus) with some reflections and meditations to help our connectedness. We will visit an old Quaker Meeting house at Hawkshead, we may glimpse an Osprey and first swallows as they arrive for the summer on the Lakes and there are plenty of red squirrels if we are patient. We will also spend time at a hidden waterfall and quiet gardens. The afternoons will be free for artwork, craft or journalling or time alone and there will be opportunities for individual spiritual accompaniment each day if wanted.

Terry is the Friend in Residence at Glenthorne and a qualified counsellor, Margaret is a facilitator with many years experience in accompanying individuals dealing with changing situations.

Course starts after dinner Monday and finishes 12.00pm Friday. Non residential guests welcome.

Residential cost £375. Non Residential £85
